The Nippon Science Support Network is a global initiative to coordinate international relief efforts in response to the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan. A database has been established for individual research laboratories, universities, hospitals, science foundations and funding agencies to upload dedicated positions and stipend schemes that have been put in place for Japanese students, research fellows and scientific personnel.
To upload a position, enter the local chapter of the Nippon Science Support Network by clicking on your country's flag.

Please beware that we will remove any comments and offerings that are not dedicated relief efforts. This is not a job site! Only short-term support positions will be communicated.

After more than 10.000 hits to this site (>5.000 from Japan) we have decided to turn this platform into a global resource. Now is the time for scientists worldwide to join this initiative. Upload a position, advertise a funding scheme, pledge infrastructure support … or start a local chapter of the network in your home country.
Get involved. Act now.
On a personal note, I would like to thank the Berlin team for their tremendous efforts. Sascha Wiswedel, Steve Goyette, Yasuhiro Murakawa and Toshiaki Kogame: Great job guys! Thank you.
